About Astute Licensing
Astute Licensing's License Demand Management platform has been in development since 2014. Built on industry knowledge, experience and validation to create a truly innovative product in the Software Asset Management industry.
The mission of Astute Licensing is to support companies at risk of large and expensive software audits. We work to ensure our customers become, and remain, compliant with their Enterprise software providers and realise substantial software savings by using our software.
Our team has amassed over half a billion in cost avoidance at list price and tens of millions in savings for organisations. We have all helped organisations invest in Software Asset Management programmes, with over $20m invested in SAM toolsets and mitigation projects.
Our Mission
Our mission at Astute Licensing is simple. We want to end licensing risks for our customers and help them save money in new ways through our innovation.
As passionate members of the software licensing industry, we became tired of companies never really fixing the problem. As an industry we have always looked back, a retrospective look at what has been installed in the past to create a licence position.
This retrospective outlook has helped our industry thrive, but for the end user, the leadership investing into these programmes, they are starting to become disillusioned with SAMs value proposition. We fix the issues of the past, but we still have new risks, audits and issues appearing. We mitigate these risks, shout about the great cost avoidance achieved, then wait for the next one to appear.
We want to evolve how we approach licensing. No longer can the retrospective, "whistle blower" approach of past issues be good enough, we need proactive risk prevention, to take accountability of the problem once and for all and ensure that no new risk enters our estate.
Taking this approach to ending risk, means we can have visibility into all the future software requirements, creating a wealth of opportunities to save on future spend.
